A message from the event Team:

We have one final update we wanted to be sure to communicate to our ticket holders + guests: In an effort to ensure our event runs smoothly, and above all safely, we will have hired event security who’ll be onsite during our scheduled programming.

With this said, we want to remind everyone that YOU MUST HAVE YOUR EVENT BADGE PHYSICALLY ON & VISIBLE UPON ENTRY INTO EVENT SPACES. Additionally, we also ask that you wear your event badge for the duration of the event(s) you’re attending onsite.

Our event team’s top priority is not only to put on a fun event, it’s also to keep things as open and fair as possible for each of our attendees and guests. This means we are striving to remain as communicative as possible, while also being prepared to enforce event policies as stated whenever needed. To ensure you’re up to date with our event updates/communication, we strongly advise you download our event app and enable push notifications so there are no surprises, but also so that you’re each able to plan accordingly if needed.

Lastly, we want to mention that we value each of you, and are so very grateful you’ve chosen to spend the next few days/weekend with us!

ONSITE COMMUNICATION:

First and foremost: DOWNLOAD OUR EVENT APP: https://my.yapp.us/THECITYFLING. That will be the best option for up-to-date TCF ’26 notifications/updates during our event, including any updates to ticketed authors during the signings, event-exclusive giveaways, and more!

That said, the next best place for event updates will also be our Facebook Attendees group, which you can join here.

We will also cross-post important updates on our Instagram pages, which you can follow via @thecityfling and @thebookcuties, however, the best source of info will be the app linked above.

EVENT UPDATED INFO AND/OR CHANGES AT-A-GLANCE:

  • We’ve added author Karina Halle to our event lineup! To view our most current event lineup, go HERE.
  • We’ve added a table for Karina Halle to our signing room seating chart, which you can view HERE. To view our spreadsheet with all author and vendor table numbers in alphabetical and numerical order, you can view it HERENOTE: We added Karina’s table (#52) next to Claire Contreras in the far right corner. Other than that, no other changes were made to the seating chart.
  • We’ve updated the event schedule page to include locations for attendee registration. *PLEASE REVIEW CAREFULLY AS THE LOCATION CHANGES FOR THE SECOND HALF OF REGISTRATION ON FRIDAY, AND ON SATURDAY MORNING. Additionally: We’re re-opening registration on Friday evening an hour earlier (now at 5PM in Zilker Ballroom Foyer) to allow for Saturday Delight attendee check-in.
  • Clarification: If you have a Saturday Delight ticket, the earliest you can check-in at registration is starting at 5PM on Friday June 12th. This is in an effort to prioritize attendees with earlier event access tickets. If you have a Full Fling ticket: You can check in on Thursday, June 11th (2PM-9PM), and Friday, June 12th from 9AM-3PM (and beyond). If you have a Saturday Delight ticket: You can check in on Friday, June 12th from 5PM-8PM, and Saturday, June 13th from 9AM-3PM. **If you have multiple ticket types under your name, you will only be able to check in for Saturday Delight tickets per the times/info listed above.
  • Please read and review our event policies HERE.
  • The ticketed author virtual queue will be accessible via a QR CODE imprinted on the back of your attendee badge. The virtual queues will open approximately 30 mins prior to doors opening (so 10:30AM Friday and Saturday). ICYMI the ticketed author updates, you can go HERE to this post!

EVENT REMINDER:

MOST IMPORTANT REMINDER: FOR SECURITY + VERIFICATION PURPOSESPLEASE BRING A PHOTO ID THAT MATCHES THE NAME ON YOUR TICKET TO ATTENDEE REGISTRATION. If your ticket is under a different person’s name, you will need to wait for that person to be there to present their photo ID at registration. Additionally, you do not need to print your event ticket(s); you’ll just need the QR code that is located within your Eventbrite email/confirmation, or within your ticket on the app to have scanned at attendee registration.

ADA ATTENDEES:

If you previously filled out our event ADA form, or reached out via email regarding ADA accommodations prior to 6/3: An email was sent out via hello@thecityfling.com with instructions for check-in, and accommodation confirmation (if needed). If you did not see our email, you can reach out to our team via hello@thecityfling.com and put “URGENT: ADA” in the subject line for assistance, otherwise our event team will be available onsite Thurs-Sat to help with any questions/concerns!

**NOTE: ADA Companions without event tickets WILL NOT be eligible to receive event swag, nor be eligible for virtual queues. Our event volunteers working the lines for our ticketed authors and vendors will be verifying the attendee’s name upon access to the line–just an FYI!

We ask that any companions accompanying an ADA attendee have their companion badge visible AT ALL TIME, and be prepared to confirm the name of the ticket holder they’re assisting when entering the ticketed author/vendor lines. **They will not be able to get books signed for themselves if they do not have an event badge.
