The City Fling 2026 Event Schedule

We are thrilled to share the official event schedule for The City Fling 2026!

Important things to note:

  1. As a reminder: our event will run Thursday-Saturday (June 11-13, 2026)
  2. The lineup for our Thursday panel is subject to change(s) at any time. We will announce on via Instagram pages (@thebookcuties and @thecityfling) and our Facebook group page should there be lineup updates.
  3. THE FULL FLING ticket holders have access Thursday-Saturday. Registration on Thursday is ONLY FOR THE FULL FLING ATTENDEES.
  4. SATURDAY DELIGHT ticket holders will only have access to programming on Saturday, June 13.
  5. The sponsored events are not signing events–this includes Holly’s Hoedown (Fri) and Scarlett’s Sinful Soirée (Sat).
  6. All authors + vendors in our lineup will be present at our signings.
  7. For the Fri & Sat signings:
    • **Friday’s signing will be open to THE FULL FLING ticket holders only.
    • We plan to have our seating chart for the signing room posted in early-mid May 2026 at the latest.
    • We do have a cart policy, which you can view here.
    • You are welcome to bring books/items from home to have authors sign, but please check back in the weeks leading up to the event for possible limitations (per person per line visit) that may be established per an author’s request. **We will also post these updates via our pages linked above.
    • We will have a ticketed author system in place to facilitate line control; stay tuned for more info to come in May 2026.
  8. If you are a ticket holder with ADA needs, please fill out this form NO LATER THAN MAY 15TH.

THURSDAY EVENT ACCESS IS FOR “THE FULL FLING” TICKET HOLDERS ONLY.

EVENT BOOKSTORE HOURS: 3PM-6PM – LOCATION: HILL COUNTRY BALLROOM

2PM-9PM – REGISTRATION – THE FULL FLING TICKET HOLDERS ONLY – LOCATION TBA (May ’26)

4:30PM – DOORS OPEN – LOCATION: TEXAS BALLROOM

4:30PM-7:00PM – WELCOME MIXER – Grab a drink from one of our cash bars while you mix & mingle with fellow book cuties and/or find a seat at one of our banquet tables throughout the ballroom to create/decorate your own bag charm, bracelet, or bookmark!  – LOCATION: TEXAS BALLROOM

7:00PM-8:30PM – “KICKSTART MY HEART” PANEL: Authors Ali Hazelwood,Adriana Herrera, Amber V. Nicole, C.M. Nascosta, and Nisha Sharma (Nina Saxena) discuss chartering paths within romance publishing, navigating the launch of bookish Kickstarter projects, and the joys of staying true to the stories and characters they love to write. – Moderated by Seth (@dramakingbooks) – LOCATION: TEXAS BALLROOM

7PM-10PM – HOLLY’S HOEDOWN *SPONSORED BY AUTHOR HOLLY RENEE – Throw on your cowboy boots and join us with author & sponsor Holly Renee for a social mixer event celebrating her most recent series: The Calloway Ranch series! Pick up your goodie bag upon entry and head over to one of our cash bars for a special cocktail or mocktail (curated by the one and only Kimberly from @fictionandfizz), pop in for a round of line dancing, or boot scoot over to our embossing station (*more details to come)! **Stay tuned for more details to come this spring! – LOCATION: TEXAS BALLROOM + ZILKER TERRACE

8PM-11PM – SCARLETT’S SINFUL SOIREE *SPONSORED BY AUTHOR SCARLETT ST CLAIR – Join us as we party the night away along with author Scarlett St. Clair and  partake in some of our delightful offerings: a themed photobooth + backdrop, getting an airbrush tattoo, cash bars with sinfully curated beverages (by @fictionandfizz), and discover what tropealicious books are in your future with our TBR Tarot Card Readers who’ll be giving out an event-exclusive tarot card souvenir (1 per attendee)! Additionally, our DJ will provide the perfect tunes to tempt you to make your way to the dance floor! Attendees will also each receive an event swag bag which will contain goodies from sponsors: Jemlin Cand Bloom Books. This will truly be an event worthy of Scarlett’s amazing dark urban fantasy, TERROR AT THE GATES! **Stay tuned for more details to come this soon! – LOCATION: TEXAS BALLROOM
