The City Fling Code of Conduct + Policy
1. Purpose
Our goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all event participants. All attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, and staff are required to comply with this Code of Conduct. Participation in this event constitutes agreement to these terms.
2. Scope
This Code applies to all event sessions, meetings, social activities, all areas of the hotel and event venue, and event-related communications including online platforms.
3.Expected Standards of Behavior
Participants must act professionally and respectfully, treat others with dignity and courtesy, respect diversity and inclusion, follow hotel policies and applicable laws, and comply with instructions from event staff.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Harassment or discrimination, disruptive or unsafe behavior, damage to property, unauthorized access, and privacy violations–including recording without consent or using covert recording devices such as smart glasses–are strictly prohibited.
5. Alcohol & Substance Use
Illegal drugs and misuse of substances are prohibited. Attendees must comply with local state laws and hotel policies.
6. Health & Safety
Participants must follow emergency procedures, report unsafe conditions immediately, and avoid behavior that could endanger others.
7. Reporting Concerns
Violations should be reported to event staff or venue security. Reports will be handled confidentially to the extent possible.
8. Enforcement & Consequences
Violations may result in warnings, removal from the event, expulsion without refund, banning from future events, or referral to law enforcement.
9. Acknowledgment
By attending the event, participants agree to comply with this Code and to contribute to a respectful environment.
